Terms and conditions

These terms apply to all engagements between clients and StebeX Accounting GmbH. The German version is legally binding — in case of conflict it prevails. Final wording to be reviewed by counsel before public launch.

1. Scope of services

StebeX Accounting GmbH provides bookkeeping, payroll and business operations services. Tax advisory services are not part of our engagement (§ 3 StBerG) and are performed exclusively by cooperating licensed Steuerberater.

2. Contract formation

Engagements are formed by written agreement (email suffices).

3. Fees

Fees follow the individual engagement agreement. Standard hourly rates, monthly retainers and volume-based pricing are agreed in writing.

4. Confidentiality

We treat all client information as strictly confidential. Data is stored in Germany. Retention and deletion follow the engagement agreement and our privacy notice.

5. Liability

Limitations of liability follow standard industry practice for non-tax-advisory service providers and are set out in the engagement agreement.

6. Termination

Ongoing engagements are terminable with one month's notice to the end of a calendar month unless otherwise agreed.

7. Jurisdiction

Place of jurisdiction is Berlin, applicable law German law.
